The St. Jacob Board of Trustees approved the Police Committee's purchase of 4RE Watchguard HD video camera.

During a St. Jacob Board of Trustees meeting last month, Mayor Richard Richard Shiefer announced that he will be hosting a Mayor's meeting and dinner at 6 p.m., April 28, at the Community Center, 108 W. 2nd St.

Reservations are required for the event. The cost of the dinner is $25 per person.

The board approved the Police Committee's request to purchase a 4RE Watchguard HD video camera,

The board also approved the purchase of additional Christmas lights for the upcoming Homecoming event, not to exceed $3,700, the date for the community Easter Egg Hunt. The Water and Sewer Committee presented that a new lift station pump was being installed. 

Present at the meeting were Mayor Richard Shiefer, Village Clerk Kathy Becker, Superintendent Shawn Fohne and Chief Jeff Souders, along with trustees Steve Howe, George Gavlick, Bobby Ross, Pattie Beil and Chris Tolbert.
