Edwardsville Public Services Committee to consider IDOT road-upkeep resolution

The Edwardsville Public Services Committee is expected to discuss and possibly approve an Illinois Department of Transportation resolution for maintenance of highways and streets by municipality under the Illinois Highway Code for $420,000 during its meeting 5:30 p.m. today at City Hall.

The committee also is expected to discuss sewer service at 108 McKinley Ave., consider amending the city's sewer code and possibly approve a sole-source resolution to OK a $218,260 contract with Korte & Luitjohan Contractors Inc. for surface upgrades to Linden Street and an adjacent alley.

The committee also said its next meeting after tonight's will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, in the Governor Edwards Conference Room of City Hall.
