The City of Alton recently held an Appearance Review Commission meeting to discuss two citizen requests for office appearance changes.
John McGraw presented an application for 1300 E. Broadway, asking that he be able to build another office on site that would carry the address of 1300 E. Broadway, Suite C. This office would have a separate entry with a door provided by Lyon’s Glass. The commission accepted the proposal as presented.
In addition, Janeen Kelly presented an application for Dan Mar Enterprise at the addresses of 601-611 E. Broadway. Kelly would like to remove all of the façade fronts and restore the building to its original fronts. The commission accepted the proposal as presented.
Members Dawn Hentrich, Margaret Hopkins, Mark Wuellner, Debbie Schuneman, Gen Gearing and Barbara Gearing attended the meeting.
