The village of Roxana Volunteer Fire Department met Oct. 12 to accept donations for the fish fry event.

The Roxana Volunteer Fire Department operates from a single station on West Third Street and covers approximately 12 square miles. The department is contracted with Kendall Hill subdivision for emergency services, and responds for automatic mutual aid with South Roxana Fire Protection District and, as requested, to Conoco Phillips Refinery.
