The East Alton Youth Christmas Party will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, at the Keasler Recreation Complex, 615 Third St., according to EastAltonVillage.org.
The event, which is for children ages 11 and younger, will feature face painting, games, craft projects and a visit with Santa, among other activities. Snacks will be provided, and each participant upon leaving will receive a treat from the Parks and Recreation Department.
The cost is $2 per child. Parents should stay with young children and are encouraged to bring their cameras.
Also, Holiday Fun Days will begin from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 29 at the Keasler Recreation Complex. The event is for children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Activities, movies, craft projects and lunch will be part of each Fun Day. Cost is $4 per member and $6 per nonmember, with a $2 added charge if registering after the deadline. There is a maximum of 50 participants allowed. The dates of more Fun Days will be announced.
