The Empowerment Team owes $2,550 in fines

The campaign committee The Empowerment Team owes a $2,200 fine imposed on June 3, 2013, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $350 with Ferris Williams listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 18 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $95,514 in pending fines.
