James Hodgkinson, the man accused of targeting Republican lawmakers in a shooting in Alexandria, Virginia, on June 14, was in numerous anti-Republican and anti-President Donald Trump groups on Facebook, according to the Edgar County Watchdogs.

The citizens government oversight group said it captured a list documenting Hodgkinson’s Facebook group membership shortly after his name was released in connection with the shooting. The groups include "Donald Trump is not my President," which proclaims a focus on “peaceful resistance against Donald Trump,” and "The Road To Hell Is Paved With Republicans," which lists 1,903 members.

CNBC said five people were injured in the shooting, which took place at a congressional baseball practice: U.S. Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), two Capitol Police officers, a lobbyist and a congressional staffer.
