The calls in Collinsville included 79 fires - 23 structure fires, 17 vehicle fires and 37 other fires. The fire department also responded to two calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.
In all, the department saw $358,700 in fire loss - or about $4,541 per fire.
The department also received 112 false calls.
The calls resulted in two civilian fire-related injuries.
The Collinsville Firefighters' Pension Fund, which has 32 active employees and 30 retired or inactive employees, was $1,703,220 in debt as of December 2015, according to the fund's mandated filings with the Illinois Department of Insurance. That amounts to $21,560 for every fire in 2016.
