City of Alton Committee of the Whole met October 9. 

Here is the agenda as provided by the committee:

1. Call to Order.

2. Roll Call.

3. Audit of Accounts.

4. Presentation from Scheffel, Boyle – City of Alton Audit as of March 31, 2017.

5. Resolution, re: That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached

Local Agency Agreement for Federal Participation (Amendment #1) by and between the

Illinois Department of Transportation and the City of Alton.

6. Resolution, re: The pastor at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church has requested a handicap

parking space in front of 10 E. Third Street and that the attached ordinance be

considered.

7. Resolution, re: The City Council of the City of Alton, Illinois deems it advisable to

establish “No Parking” zone on the west side of 2500 block of Virden and that the

attached ordinance be considered.

8. Resolution, re: A disabled resident has requested a handicap parking space in front of 208

W. Elm Street and that the attached ordinance be considered.

9. Resolution, re: That the attached Redevelopment Agreement between the City of Alton

and Alton Center Business Park, LLC be and is hereby approved, with funding coming

from TIF #1 Project Account.

10. Resolution, re: The City Council deems it is in the best interest of the City of Alton to

amend the building codes of the City of Alton and that the attached ordinance be

considered.

11. Adjourn.
