Here comes the Mascoutah Lighted Christmas Parade

Who doesn’t love a parade? The Mascoutah Chamber of Commerce is planning on lighting up the holiday season with its parade – and there’s still time to march along. 

The seventh annual Lighted Christmas Parade will kick off at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 1 at 2nd and Church streets, a chamber release said. 

Any businesses, churches, organizations and neighborhood groups, as well as individuals, who want to be part of the parade call still sign up, the release said. Interested participants do not have to be members, organizers said. 

After stepping off, the parade head to Main Street then east to Lebanon and finally over to Church Street in Mascoutah.

Businesses along the route, including restaurants, will be open for business during the parade.
