Alton Appearance Review Commission met December 6.

Members Present: Barb Gearing, Gen Gearing, Margaret Hopkins
Members Not Present: Debbie Schuneman, Mike Doucleff
Others Present: Chris Velloff, Sam Shaw, Building Inspector, Becky Brunaugh, Secretary
A meeting of the Appearance Review Commission was held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017. Margaret Hopkins called the meeting to order at 8:01.
New Business:
Chris Velloff with The Brown Bag Bistro presented the application for 318 E. Broadway. She is installing a sign to fit inside a previously approved frame along Broadway next to the pick-up window. The sign is made of ¼” metal, brown in color, and reads “The Brown Bag Bistro”.
Barb Gearing made a motion to accept the application as presented. Gen Gearing seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
Other Business:
There being no further discussion or comments from the public, the meeting was adjourned at 8:16 a.m.
