City of Alton Civil Service Commission met Feb. 7.

A regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called to order at 8:15am on February 7, 2018, at Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.
Members Present: Terry Bristow, Jonas Janek, Vicki Serales-Williams
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: Civil Service Attorney Patrick King
Guests Present: None
A motion was made by Mr. Janek and seconded by Vicki Serales-Williams to approve the minutes of the regular meetings on January 17, 2018. Motion passed.
Requisitions were signed for Fire Engineer and Firefighter.
A requisition and job description for Building Supervisor-Police Department was signed.
A job description for Jailer was signed.
A requisition for Police Officer was signed.
Resignations were signed for Joseph Skortz and Robert Ross
The 2017 Annual Report was reviewed and signed.
Three interviews were held for Firefighter.
With no further business, Mr. Janek made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bristow to adjourn at 9:35am.
