COLLINSVILLE COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT 10: Collinsville Education Scholarship Foundation Presents 2018 Awards

Collinsville Community Unit School District 10 issued the following announcement on May 15.

Congratulations to the Collinsville Education Scholarship Foundation (CESF) recipients who were honored during the May 14, 2018 Collinsville City Council meeting at Gateway Center.

Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship from the group that provides recognition to graduating seniors who live in the corporate limits of the City of Collinsville.

Luke Moore will attend Colorado School of Mines to study petroleum engineering.

Karlie Jefferies has been admitted to SIUE School of Nursing as a direct-entry student.

Kaitlynn Schantz will study chemistry at University of Illinois at Chicago to pursue a career in forensic pathology.

Bridgett Stephens is enrolled in Southern Illinois University Carbondale‘s Radiation Therapy program where she plans to complete an additional one-year program in Medical Dosimetry.

McCaully Bauer plans to earn a biology degree from Saint Louis University and attend medical school to become a surgeon.

Riley Harris will be a student at Illinois Wesleyan University studying in their Pre-Physician’s Assistant program. Riley was unable to attend the presentation because she was participating in post-season play with Lady Kahoks Soccer.

CESF is governed by a volunteer board on behalf of the City of Collinsville. Scholarship funds are raised through fundraising efforts, such as an annual golf tournament, and donations from the community.
