Alton Amphitheater Commission met April 16.

Members Present: Robert Stephan, Michelle Brooks, Dan Herkert, Jay
Hollinger, Karen Brncic and Brett Stawar.
Members Absent: Ruth Birmingham
Ex-Officio and Guests: Kirby Ontis, Cameo Foster, Mike Haynes, Ed Schwegel,
Eddie Agha, Stephanie Tate, Debbie Frakes, Lisa Loftus
and Angela Richards.
Robert Stephan called the meeting of the Alton Amphitheater Commission to order at
4:35 P.M., on April 16, 2018, at Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.
Brett Stawar made a motion to approve minutes from the last meeting, Michelle Brooks
made a second. Motion carried.
Dan Herkert made a motion to reimburse Robert Stephan up to $700 for subscriptions to
pollstar datasource. This is an annual subscription and will allow 6 reports. Michelle
seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Karen Baker-Brncic made a motion to pay the liquor liability insurance and licensing
needed up to $1,389 and $614 respectively. Dan seconded the motion. Motion carried.
Robert Stephan made a motion to pay SESAC for $1,626. Michelle Broooks seconded
the motion. Motion carried.
There was no report on the JL Nash. Some members believed it had been paid. No
action.
Michelle Brooks made a motion to approve the Giving it all for Guts margarita run and
5k for $250 rental on 10/13/2018 from noon to 6 p.m. Karen seconded. Motion carried.
Dan made a motion to accept the International Sun Day Festival as a City of Alton Parks
and Rec co-sponsored event to be held free of charge on Sunday June, 17, 2018 from 10
a.m. to 5 p.m. Michelle seconded. Motion carried.
Robert motioned for the Bra Walk on 10/06/18 from 8 a.m. to noon for a fee of $250.
Dan seconded the motion. Motion carried.
The Jordan Boucher wedding was laid over for approval on Sept. 1 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Discussion ensued on the partnership agreement for Feed the Need. The city will receive
225 general admission with trade for bike rack fencing, chairs, sound approved with fee
waived. Food will be managed by city and offered 10% share for their volunteer tent.
Brett Motioned to accept. Michelle seconded. Motion carried.
Discussion ensued on the sound and lights. No RFP at this point.
Ed Schwegel discussed his kettle corn.
Brett made a motion to adjourn at 5:50 p.m. Karen Brncic seconded. The motion
carried.
