Graduates earn 800 degrees, certificates from McKendree University

About 33 percent of the 800 degrees and certificates handed out by the McKendree University in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Lebanon conferred 171 bachelor's degrees and 88 master's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Data shows the school gave out 91 bachelor's degrees in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse, followed by 88 master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General and 64 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.

The university enrolled 2,902 students for 2016-17, including 2,261 in undergraduate programs and 641 in graduate programs.
