Illinois students paid $29,640 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $900 more than the $28,740 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 99 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 357 students received grants or scholarships totaling $7.3 million and 262 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.8 million.
Including all undergraduates, 1,898 students used grants or scholarships totaling $30.92 million. Another 1,389 took out $10.01 million in federal student loans.
Editor's note: A previous version of this story incorrectly described the cost of attendance, which includes both tuition and fees.
