CRYSTAL LAKE COMMUNITY CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL DISTRICT 47: Edwardsville High School 2019 Summer Program

Crystal Lake Community Consolidated School District 47 issued the following announcement on Jan. 2.

Edwardsville High School is pleased to offer its students opportunities to extend their learning beyond the school year.

Registration Information

Please visit the District 7 website at http://www.ecusd7.org to find dates and times for each course or pick up a registration packet at one of the following locations: Hadley House, the Edwardsville High School office, the Liberty Middle School office, and/or the Lincoln Middle School office.

The District will begin accepting registration packets at 7:30 a.m. on January 22, 2019. A student’s registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis regardless of registration deadline. Parents are encouraged to register their child early. Registration is complete only when all registration forms and payment have been received. Only students with complete registrations will be added to a class roster. Students currently on free and reduced lunch will not be denied the opportunity to attend summer school if unable to pay fees. All registrations will be confirmed during the week of May 6, 2019.

Registration closes Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. Minimum enrollment for all courses is 17 students. In case of cancellation due to low enrollment, the entire course fees will be returned. Those students who registered for a class that is cancelled due to low enrollment may be able to enroll in another class after the April 16 closing deadline if space is available. Deadline for Limited Enrollment Courses is May 31, 2019. Please return completed forms and payment to:

Please note:

  • If a student accumulates four absences (excused or unexcused) OR five tardies (excused or unexcused), the student will receive a grade of “F”, earn no credit, and will be dropped from the class with no refund.
  • Refund Policy: There is a $50 non-refundable deposit for each course. This fee is part of the course fee. However, payment will be returned in full if the class is not held due to low enrollment or the student is wait-listed. Payment will not be refunded once the course begins.
  • Transportation at all levels is the responsibility of the parent.
  • No classes on July 4
