Q3 real estate sales report: Caseyville

Median prices declined in Caseyville over last year, and are up 0.3 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to third quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From July to September, 39 homes sold in Caseyville for a median price of $78,000. That's 9.2 percent lower than median home sale prices for the third quarter of 2017.

In the third quarter, there were no foreclosures in Caseyville.

Median property tax for homeowners in Caseyville was $2,142.69 in 2016 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 3.9 percent of their home's value in taxes.
