Edwardsville Community Unit School District 7 issued the following announcement on Feb. 8.
As part of Black History Month, District 7 has once again partnered with the Edwardsville NAACP to hold their annual art contest.
The theme chosen for 2019 is African American poets or authors. District 7 students in grades K-2 will participate in an individual art contest, while our 3-5 students will work together to create a museum effect on the exterior of their classroom door.
Stay tuned as grade level winners will be announced later this month!
