East St. Louis home prices rise in April 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2017 in East St. Louis rose by $2,500 while total sales increased by 44.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2017, there were 13 homes sold, with a median sale price of $12,000 - a 26.3% increase over the $9,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in East St. Louis in April 2016.

The median sales tax in East St. Louis for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $543, approximately 4.5% of the median home sale price for April 2017.
