City of Collinsville issued the following announcement on Aug. 12.
The Kruta Bakery is celebrating it's 100th Anniversary - Sunday August 18th, Noon until 3:00pm.
Party is at the bakery, 300 St Louis Rd., Collinsville,IL. St Louis Rd will be closed in front of the bakery.

The Z Band will be providing music, children’s activities are face painting, balloon artists, strolling magician, cookie decorating, and cos play characters will pose with kids for pictures.
They are selling $5 wristbands with ALL proceeds going to American Warrior Initiative. Wristbands entitles you to sample food from local restaurants. Children up to 17 are free.
Food from: Bert’s Chuckwagon-toasted ravioli and marinara sauce, Cafe Agape- pulled pork sliders, McDill’s Pub-chicken wings, Ramon’s-pork burritos and chips and salsa, Sloan’s-turkey rollups, veggie rollups, house chips with dip.
Off site parking at Collinsville Middle School, the City will be running a shuttle.
