This letter is to inform you that on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 the Collinsville Water Department will be performing work in your neighborhood which will require your water service to be interrupted. The water will be shut off for approximately 2 hours beginning at 8:30 a.m. If the work cannot be performed due to bad weather or unforeseen emergencies on this day, the work will take place at a later date. Once water service has been restored, you will be placed on a boil order until further notice, typically 24 to 48 hours. All water for drinking or cooking use should be boiled for five minutes before being consumed. A green tag will be placed on your door notifying you when the boil order has been lifted.
We are sorry for the inconvenience; however, it is sometimes necessary to interrupt service to maintain/upgrade the water infrastructure to ensure a quality water system.
Please call if you have any questions or concerns @ 346-5217, ext. 114.
Sincerely,
Mike Jeffries, Lines Foreman
Collinsville Water Department
