Village of Godfrey Village Board met Feb. 18.

PUBLIC HEARING “IDNR Bike Path Plan Fred E Widman Phase 2 & 3”
Mayor McCormick called the meeting to order at 5:45 PM at the Godfrey Village Hall, 6810 Godfrey Rd., Godfrey IL 62035.
Present were Trustee Stewart, Trustee Schrumpf, Trustee McAtee, Trustee Allen, Trustee Woulfe-Beile, Clerk Bohn, and Mayor McCormick.

Mark Lorsch, 9903 Ebbie Dr., Brighton IL
Mayor McCormick opened the floor for comments:
Mark Lorsch addressed the Board. He believes the Village of Godfrey is competing with other communities, who already have a bike trail, but Godfrey “has a good plan” and many residents will enjoy the bike trail.
Mayor McCormick asked the Clerk to read a comment submitted by email from Rick and Misty Gibson, 2706 Rock Fork rd. They feel the trail would be a fantastic addition to the Village of Godfrey.
With no additional comments the Public Hearing was closed at 5:50 p.m., by Mayor McCormick
