Analysis: Shiloh pays $3.34 for every $1 pensioners contribute to Shiloh Police Pension Fund

Taxpayers contributed 77 percent of the $529,974 the Shiloh Police Pension Fund brought in 2018, or $3.34 for every $1 from pension members, according to a Metro East Sun analysis of the latest data reported to the Illinois Department of Insurance Pension Division.

In all, Shiloh contributed $407,906 to the fund, which saw a $26,947 increase in revenue over 2017. Members contributed $122,068, or 23 percent, in 2018.
