City of Belleville Historic Preservation Commission met Oct. 15.

Special Meeting Minutes: (Meeting held as a teleconference per requirements due to the Covid-19 pandemic.)

Call to order: 5:00pm

Eric Schauster presented emergency procedures

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

A call for public participation was given, but no one responded.

DESIGN REVIEW REQUEST(S)

211 Abend Street: Chris Wright; Contractor

The boiler inside the residence is damage beyond repair. Two condensing units will be installed on the property. One of the condenser units will be located on the second floor (flat roof) located on the back of the house and another condenser unit on the ground located on the back of the house. Neither will be seen from the street.

Ms. Weisenstein – Motion made: “That the DRR request be approved as presented.”

Mr. Owens - Second

Roll Call vote due to the nature of the meeting (teleconference)

Motion carries - Unanimously

OFFICER’S REPORTS

Chairperson Report: Ms. McKenzie reported that she had nothing to share.

Secretary Report: Mr. Owens will be presenting the September 15th regular meeting minutes and October 10th special meeting minutes at the next regular monthly meeting which will be held on October 20, 2020

Treasurer’s Report: Mr. Owens will be presenting the September treasure’s report at the next regular monthly meeting which will be held on October 20, 2020

New/Old Business

Ms. McKenzie and Ms. Pollock have been contacted by Jennifer Ferguson about writing an article for the Belleville social networking pages centering on the Belleville Historic Preservation Commission.
