Village of St. Jacob Village Board met July 1.

Meeting called to order at 6:31 pm
I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES AND AGENDA
1. Trustee Ross made a motion to approve the minute’s 20-12 for June 17, 2020. Trustee Gavlick seconds the motion. Roll call vote, all in favor, motion passed.
2. Trustee Ross made a motion to approve the agenda 20-13 for July 1, 2020. Trustee Elliott seconds.
Roll call vote, all in favor, motion passed.
II. COMMUNICATIONS:
1. John Barberis sworn in Jamie Runion as a new Trustee to the Village board. Mayor Schiefer assigned Trustee Runion as chairman of the Community Development/Health.

A. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT/HEALTH:
1. Nothing to report.
B. WATER AND SEWER:
1. Trustee Elliott had nothing to report.
C. POLICE:
1. Trustee Gavlick was not present. Chief Kukla reported in the last 2 weeks they responded to 72 calls and issued 11 citations. He had a FOIA. Chief Kukla also stated they Officer Chris Singleton resigned.
D. ORDINANCE AND FINANCE:
1. Trustee Ross had nothing to report.
E. PUBLIC GROUNDS & BUILDINGS:
1. Trustee Ross stated that the public works guys started back on the Mill Pond project.
F. STREETS AND LANES/MOTOR FUEL TAX:
1. Trustee Richeson was not present.
IV. REPORTS:
A. Engineer Report-Nothing to report.
B. Village Attorney-Nothing to report.
C. FOIA request-Nothing to report.
D. Building Inspector- Nothing to report.
E. Planning Commission-Nothing to report.
F. Zoning Officer-Lindow rezoning hearing is scheduled for July 14, 2020.
G. Public Works -Nothing to report.

A. Trustee Ross made a motion to approve the claims in the amount of $20,804.83. Trustee Elliott seconds. Roll call vote, all in favor, motion passed.
