3. Approval of Minutes from the September 17, 2020 Cool Cities Committee meeting

4. Citizens wishing to address the Board – Kristen Pauli

5. Old / Continuing Business

a. Update on BYOGlen-Ed and City ordinance- letters sent to mayor by City and IEC Current governor’s order extended, City Ordinance scheduled for January 2021

b. Do we want to support solar installation for emergency facilities on new firehouse?

c. City Administrator agrees CC members on planning committee for above. A site has been reported to have been located. We need to remind City of promise to attend planning meetings

d. Do we want to support gardening under Nexamp solar farm locally (study agrivoltaics)? No updates available for November

e. Supporting/encouraging composting in City (partnering Mary Grose, Cartney James (BYO), Connie Frey-Spurlock and Katherine Mora (SIU) and Katja Kopp(Center for Spirituality and Sustainability)

6. New Business

a. Presentation of Climate Action Plan to City Council? VOTE, Revision made

b. Return to downtown recycling challenges?

7. Adjournment - Next Cool Cities Committee Meeting: December 19 at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall
