Q2 2022 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Jersey County?

There were 10 offenders living in Jersey County released on parole during the second quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Metro East Sun.

The data shows eight men and two women were released in Jersey County. The median age of the parolees was 40. The youngest parolee was a 30-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2021, and the oldest was a 58-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving drugs in 2018.

The offender incarcerated the longest was Beavers Roger. He was convicted of a crime involving drugs in 2018 when he was 54 years old. He is now 58.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the second quarter of 2022 in each Jersey County.
