DESIGN REVIEW REQUEST(S):
1. 132 Pennsylvania
a. Staff Liaison Schauster reviewed (2) proposed door options and showed exterior pictures of the house. BHC assumed door to be replaced would be the door opening currently boarded up facing the street, rather than the glass door with the mailbox not facing the road.
b. A craftsmen style door and 3⁄4 lite glass door were proposed. After looking at the guidelines, the group agreed the craftsmen style door would be more appropriate and more in keep with detailing of that era.
c. A full lite glass/screen door and a full lite glass/screen door with center style were proposed to be installed on the outside of the new door. The group agreed the full lite glass/screen with no center style would be more appropriate.
d. There was concern a prefinished door may be problematic since the opening may not be perfectly square and the door may need to be shaved down.
