City of Edwardsville Finance Committee met March 14

Here are the minutes provided by the committee:

Alderman Krause called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. in the Governor Edwards Conference Room in City Hall, located at 118 Hillsboro Avenue in Edwardsville, Illinois. 

Roll Call: Alderman Krause, Chairman, Alderwoman Miracle were present. Alderman Farrar was excused. 

Also Present: Jeanne Wojcieszak, Director of Finance; Randi Van Wie, Deputy Director of Finance; Kevin Head, City Administrator; Jeff Berkbigler, City Attorney; Mike Fillback, Director of Police; Mike Lybarger, Deputy Chief; James Whiteford, Fire Chief; Brendon McKee, Deputy Chief; Amanda Tucker, Director of Human Resources; Cathy Hensley, Communication Coordinator and Devin Gray, Director of IT. 

No public comment was made. 

Motion by Krause, seconded by Miracle to approve the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on February 29, 2024. Motion carried with Krause and Miracle voting aye. 

Old Business: 

None 

New Business: 

Claims amount will be announced at the Tuesday, March 19, 2024 Council meeting. 

Kevin Head, City Administrator discussed the 2024-2025 Budget. 

Mike Fillback discussed the Police Department 2024-2025 Budget. 

James Whiteford discussed the Fire Department 2024-2025 Budget. 

Finance Committee will meet on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in City Hall. 

There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 4:35 p.m.
