City of Edwardsville Finance Committee met April 10
Here are the minutes provided by the committee:
Alderman Krause called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in City Hall, located at 118 Hillsboro Avenue in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Roll Call: Alderman Krause, Chairman and Alderwoman Miracle were present. Alderman Farrar was excused.
Also Present: Jeanne Wojcieszak, Director of Finance; Randi Van Wie, Deputy Director of Finance; Eric Williams, City Administrator; Ryan Zwijack, Director Public Works; Brendan McKee, Cathy Hensley, Communication Coordinator; and Karla Vasquez, Edwardsville Intelligencer.
No public comment was made.
Motion by Krause, seconded by Miracle to approve the minutes of the Finance Committee meeting held on March 27, 2025. Motion carried with Krause and Miracle voting aye.

Claims amount will be announced at the Tuesday, April 15, 2025 Council meeting.
Motion by Krause, seconded by Miracle to approve and forward to council a Resolution Establishing a Budget for the Fiscal Year Beginning the First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2025 and Ending the Monday Preceding the First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2026. Motion carried with Krause and Miracle voting aye.
Motion by Krause, seconed by Miracle, to approve and forward to council an Ordinance Making Appropriations for the Fiscal Year Beginning the First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2025 and Ending the Monday Preceding the First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2026 (First Reading). Motion carried with Krause and Miracle voting aye.
Finance Committee will meet on Thursday, May 10, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in City Hall.
There being no further business, meeting adjourned at 4:25 p.m.
