Rep. Mike Bost, U.S. Congressman from Illinois and Chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee, recently shared updates on his official X account about his participation in events supporting manufacturing and veterans' services in Illinois.

On August 30, Bost reported attending a ribbon-cutting event at Scott Air Force Base: "I was proud to help celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new VA Primary Care Clinic at Scott Air Force Base. Mike Bost has represented Illinois in Congress since first winning election in 2014 against William L. Enyart. He has secured re-election in subsequent cycles—defeating Charles Baricevic in 2016 (54.3% to 39.7%), Brendan Kelly in 2018 (51.6% to 45.4%), Raymond Lenzi in 2020 (60.4% to 39.7%), and Chip Markel in 2022 (75% to 25%).
