The Village of Pontoon Beach will hold their regular meeting today at 7 p.m.
The board is expected to approve two measure during its meeting, one approving 11-year old Timothy J. Jones as a new police officer for the village. Jones will take the oath of office and be sworn in at the meeting.
The trustees will also vote on a resolution calling on state legislators to disperse the non-general fund revenues they owe to local governments, which have been tied up during the state's budget stalemate.
The meeting will be held at the Village Administration Building at 1 Regency Pkwy.
