Madison-Bond Workforce Investment Board met today on various group policies

The Madison-Bond Workforce Investment Board of Wood River, Illinois met today on policies and information regarding sub-committees.

The board first discussed the WIOA Supportive Service Policy and then moved on to the WIOA Self-Sufficiency Definition Policy. It also covered the WIOA Veterans Priority of Service.

Afterwards, the committee talked about various sub-committees, including the Supporting Economic Development Committee, the Membership and Management Committee and the Communications Committee.

Other business included the WIOA Title 1B Report and the WIOA Program Activities update.

The next meeting will be held on March 24 at 7:30 a.m.

The Madison-Bond Workforce Investment Board exists to ensure the integration of services that prepare individuals to meet the needs of businesses and industry.
