The Public Safety Committee for Madison County, Illinois, recently convened to approve a sheriff’s office purchase request for ammo rounds and training.
The request, presented by J. Conner, would come with an associated cost of $11,740. Mr. Asadorian moved to approve the purchase request as presented. After Mr. McRae seconded the motion, the committee voted on and approved the request.
On the reports front, S. Nonn from the coroner’s office noted that the monthly report was online. The license investigator’s office informed the committee that there had been no recent violations. It also mentioned that renewal packets on liquor licenses had gone out to all licensees.
D. Burris from 911 presented a request to renew the purchase contract of Silicon UPS and battery maintenance. It would cost $6,266.02.
After finishing committee reports, the group turned to new business, during which it approved all purchase requests and bills as presented.
