The village of Maryville recently held a caucus meeting to discuss the Memorial Walk brick project and other pressing issues.
The Public Works director Joe Semanisin spoke to the board about the brick project, noting that the project has raised roughly $7,200 in funds from the sale of memorial bricks.
Semanisin then reported on the 2016 MFT Maintenance Program, noting that it needs to be renewed and funds must be appropriated for the 2016 fiscal year.
The Annual Water Conference, which will take place Tuesday through Thursday in Effingham, will be attended by water plant operators Joe Simpson and Dustin Bauer.
The group also discussed the annexation of 2910 Maryville Road and the Hometown Hero Program. Before adjourning, the group gave calendar updates, listened to public input and heard from trustees.
