The Village of Maryville Parks and Recreation Department recently met to examine the 2016 events calendar.
The Village of Maryville recently held a Parks and Recreation Committee meeting, in which it discussed the 2016 calendar of events, walkway pavers around the parks and additional items of note.
Mayor Larry Gulledge noted the dead trees in the park and how the committee would deal with it over time. He also talked about the creation of fish signs and repairing asphalt on trails within the city’s parks.
Sharon Petty, a committee member, talked about movie ideas for summer in the park movie showings. She had provided a list, and a few of the committee members worked on coordinating the selections.
