Southern Illinois-Edwardsville (SIUE) soccer players Austin Ledbetter, Devyn Jambga and Kyle Dal Santo recently received All-West Region honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) according to www.siuecougars.com.
Ledbetter, a senior defender, was named to the region's first team, while Jambga, a junior forward, was placed on the second team and Dal Santo, a junior goalkeeper, made the third team.
Ledbetter had six goals, which tied for the team lead, and was the Missouri Valley Conference's Player of the Year, Defender of the Year and tourney MVP.
Jambga had six goals and three assists on the season to lead the team in scoring and was an All-MVC and All-MVC tourney selection.
Dal Santo was 15th in the NCAA and second in the MVC with a goals-against average of 0.71 in 22 games. He was ninth nationally and first in the MVC with a save percentage of .838 and 12th nationally with 88 saves.
