The Granite City Finance Committee met Jan. 3 to hire someone to inspect liquor licenses.

Alderman Simpson called the Finance Committee Meeting to order.
Simpson turned over to the Mayor to discuss the State Liquor Contract.
Mayor stated that the State will pay us to hire a someone to inspect the machines and liquor licenses.
Discussion by the Mayor and the council about the State Liquor Contract.
Simpson stated if the State pays the money in advance we have no problem hiring someone to inspect the machines and licenses.
Mayor stated that they would be looking for State violations.
Motion by Simpson, second by McDowell to Adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.
