City of Edwardsville Finance Committee met March 14.

Present: Aldermen Art Risavy Chairman, Will Krause, Rich Hampton, City Treasurer and Dennis W. McCracken City Clerk/Collector. Aldermen Stack was excused.
Also Present: Tim Harr, City Administrator, Eric Williams, Public Works Director, Jay Keeven, Director of Police, Rick Welle, Fire Chief, Walter Williams, Economic Community Development Director, John Cunningham, Director of ECTV, Cody King, Edwardsville Intelligencer, Mark Fryer and Tom Verheyen representing Edwardsville YMCA.
Quorum present, Chairman Risavy called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. No public comments made.
Motion by Krause, seconded by Risavy, to approve Finance Committee minutes from March 02, 2017. Motion Carried with Risavy and Krause voting aye,
Enformation: Group Health Insurance Fund Report will be announced at the Tuesday, March 21, 2017 Council meeting
Old Business:
New Business;
Claims in the amount of $1,014,620.38 (Regular) $21,519.01(Library) for a total of $1,036,139.39 will be available for review. Forwarded to Council for approval on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Mark Fryer spoke briefly on behalf of the Tourism Fund request for the "Edwardsville YMCA - Tumbling Trampoline State Meet".
Motion by Krause, seconded by Risavy, to approve and forward to Council a Tourism Fund Request for the "Edwardsville YMCA - Tumbling Trampoline State Meet" in the amount of $5,000.00 (with W, of funds to be distributed at time of approval; % of funds distributed upon completion and reporting of event). Motion Carried with Risavy and Krause voting aye.

Walter Williams, Economic Community Development Director provided update on the March 13, 2017 meeting on Tourism, including the designation of Tourism of record for state grant application,
