Alton Amphitheater Commission met January 30.

Here is the minutes provided by the Commission:

Members Present: Karen Baker-Brncic, Robert Stephan, Brett Stawar, Ruth Birmongham and Judy Egelhof.

Members Absent: Michelle Brooks

Ex-Officio and Guests: Jeannie Cowan, Annie Fritz, Lauren Patton, Rivers Edge Entertainment

Robert Stephan called the meeting of the Alton Amphitheater Commission to order at 4:33 p.m., on January 30, 2017, at Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.

Brett made a motion to approve the minutes December 5, 2016, Robert made a second. Motion carried.

The minutes were not approved for January 30, 2017.. Brett made a motion to approve Financial Reports/ Bills. Ruth made a second. Motion Carried.

Liberty Bank will renew naming rights for two years with a commitment of 50k per year.

Judy made a motion to accept Hospitality Group for one year. Robert and Judy will work out terms of the contract. Ruth made a second. Motion Carried.

Annie Fritz and Lauren Patton discussed possible events for Lauren to serve beer.

Robert made a recommendation to lay over the decision for the promoter.

Brett made a motion to hold June 10th for the possibility of holding a concert for the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band/Ozark Mountain Dare Devils. Karen made a second. Motion carried.

Brett made a motion to give two general admission tickets for St Ambrose Auction. Karen made a second. Motion Carried.

The Food Truck Festival and Marina Annual Party will be held on Saturday, August 26th with times to be determined.

Benefit Concert for Riverbend Ministries, Friday, September 15th, will be discussed next meeting.

Craft Beer Week, Riverbend Brews & Bites will be discussed next meeting

Brett made a motion to place Donnewald on file, Ruth made second, Motion Carried.

Brett made a motion to hold the next meeting on February 7th, 2017, Robert made a second. Motion carried.

Robert motioned to adjourn the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Karen made a second. Motion carried.
