City of Edwardsville Finance Committee met November 14.

Present: Aldermen Craig Louer Chairman, Jack Burns, Chris Farrar, Rich Hampton, City Treasurer and Dennis W. McCracken City Clerk/Collector.
Also Present: Tim Harr, City Administrator, Walter Williams, Economic Community Development Director, Amanda Tucker, Human Resources, Kari Unterbrink, Cornerstone Insurance Group, Tayla Myles and Karen Zimmerman.
Quorum present, Aldermen Louer called the meeting to order at 4:30 p.m. No public comments were made.
Motion by Burns, seconded by Farrar, to approve Finance Committee minutes from November 01, 2017. Motion Carried with Louer, Burns and Farrar votingaye.
Information: Group Health Insurance Fund Report $445,786.59

Claims in the amount of $3,302,298.72 (Regular) $26,351.02 (Library) for a total of $3,328,649.74 will be available for review. Forwarded to Council for approval on Tuesday, November 21, 2017. (IMLRMA & impact Strategies of $649,420.40 and $1,427,483.00 respectively)
Motion by Burns, seconded by Farrar, to approve and forward to Council the Employee Healthcare Renewal for 2018 with Cigna. Motion Carried with Louer, Burns and Farrar voting aye.
Rich Hampton, City Treasurer announced the Tax levy Estimate in the amount of $10,391,000.00 was forwarded to City Council om Tuesday, November 21, 2017. Motion by Farrar, seconded by Burns, to approve and forward to Council approval of a Capital Purchase and complete outfitting of three (3) new 2018 Ford Explorer Interceptor Police Vehicles in the amount not to exceed $109,200.00. Motion Carried with Louer, Burns and Farrar voting aye,
Walter Williams Director of Economic Development Director discussed Historic Preservation Committee approval of the N. Main Fagade application. Development Agreement for future Finance Committee Consideration.
Dennis McCracken, City Clerk/Collector announced while in his absence Shelly Johnson, Deputy City Clerk will be seeking items for the Tuesday, November 28, 2017 Finance agenda no later than 11:00 a.m. On Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
Finance Committee will meet on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
