Ron Simpson, Paul Jackstadt, Dan Mcdowell, Tim Elliott, Brian Konzen, Bob Pickerell, Nikki Petrillo, Walmer Schmidtke, Don Thompson, Judy Whitaker

Alderman Simpson called the Finance Committee Meeting to order.

Simpson stated first up for approval tonight is a Resolution for call of current redemption of all outstanding city Revenue Bonds issue 2009-A.

Motion by Simpson, second by Elliott to approve a Resolution for call of current redemption of all outstanding city Revenue Bonds issue 2009-A. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Simpson turned over to Comptroller Oney.

Oney explained the Tax Levy for the City of Granite City, Madison County, for fiscal year beginning May 1, 2017 and ending April 31, 2018.

Motion by Simpson, second by Elliott to approve an Ordinance making a Tax Levy for the City of Granite City, Madison County, Illinois for the Fiscal Year beginning May 1, 2017 and ending April 20, 2018 (FY2018). All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Simpson stated that next item three is a Resolution to expand fingerprinting program that is up for approval tonight and turned over to Willaredt.

Willaredt stated that it is pretty basic they put equipment in, maintain equipment and train the individuals to us equipment.

Motion by Simpson, second by McDowell to approve the Resolution to expand fingerprinting program. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Simpson stated that next is an Ordinance to the execution of an amendment to existing service agreement for the supply of Electricity.

Motion by Simpson, second by Elliott to approve the Ordinance ratifying the execution of an amendment to existing service agreement for the supply of

Electricity for residential and small commercial retail customers who do not opt out. All Voted Yes Motion Carried.

Simpson stated that we have proposal from four different banks for the RFP banking.

Valle stated that we have received the bids and first bank is her recommendation.

Motion by Simpson, second by McDowell to approve First Bank and to have the attorney draw up the necessary paper work. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.

Motion by Simpson, second by Schmidtke to adjourn the Finance Committee Meeting. All Voted Yes. Motion Carried.
