City of Alton Civil Service Commission met Jan. 17.

A regular meeting of the Civil Service Commission was called to order at 8:15am on January 17, 2018, at Alton City Hall, 101 E. Third Street, Alton, Illinois.
Members Present: Terry Bristow, Jonas Janek, Vicki Serales-Williams
Members Absent: None
Staff Present: Civil Service Attorney Patrick King
Guests Present: None
A motion was made by Mr. Bristow and seconded by Mr. Janek to approve the minutes of the regular meetings on November 15, 2017 and January 3, 2018. Motion passed.
A retirement form from Dave Coffman was signed.
A requisition and job description for Building Supervisor was signed.
Two new Police Officer requisitions were signed.
A requisition promoting Mary Maggart to PFC was signed.
A requisition promoting Lindsey Snyder to Lead Jailer was signed.
A performance report from the Wastewater Treatment Plant was reviewed.
Two interviews were held for the Jailer position and one for Police Officer.
With no further business, Ms. Williams made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bristow to adjourn at 9:00am.
Motion passed.
