Glenview Community Consolidated School District 34 recently issued the following announcement.
The 2018-19 School Calendar was approved by the Board of Education on Monday. The first day of school for students for the 2018-19 school year will be August 22 and the last day of school would be June 6.

In an effort to capture more accurate enrollment information earlier in the year, District 34 also will be moving forward with some minor -- but important --changes to its registration process.
More specifically, the registration process will begin a month earlier in the year and, to those applicable, residency will be a part of that process. There will be an early bird discount of $50 available to families to complete registration and residency prior to May 25. Anyone after that would experience a $50 increase in the book fee.
District 34 families can expect to receive more specific information about this change to the registration process and fees next month.
