Report: Lebanon spent $11,413 per student in 2016-17

Spending per pupil at Lebanon Community Unit School District 9 is up 11 percent from five years ago, according to a Metro East Sun analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2016-17 report card shows the St. Clair County school district spent $10,256 per pupil in 2012-13. It spent $11,413 in 2016-17.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 658 to 616.

Lebanon's spending in 2016-17 was 12 percent lower than the state average of $12,973.
