City of Alton Committee of the Whole met Aug. 6.
Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:
1. Call to Order.
2. Roll Call.
3. Audit of Accounts.
4. Resolution, re: That the Mayor and appropriate City officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached Lease Agreement by and between the City of Alton, Illinois, as Lessor, and Christmas Wonderland Inc. an Illinois not-for-profit corporation, as Lessee with regard to the property located in the 4500 Block of North Alby.
5. Resolution, re: That its officials and agents are hereby authorized to pursue appropriate legal action against such properties in the Circuit Court as listed below: 707 Lampert.
6. Resolution, re: That its officials and agents are hereby authorized to pursue appropriate legal action against such properties in the Circuit Court as listed below: 2800 Sanford.
7. Resolution, re: The City of Alton desires to enter into a formal agreement with Senior Services Plus to lease a vacant lot owned by City located at 2600 N. Rodgers Avenue and that the Mayor and appropriate City officials to be designated by the Mayor are hereby authorized and directed to sign the attached Lease Agreement between the City of Alton and Senior Services Plus.
8. Resolution, re: The City of Alton and James E. Dempsey desire to enter into a new Lease Agreement for farm property for the years 2019 and 2020 and that the Mayor and appropriate city officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached Lease Agreement.
