According to the report, the district expelled or suspended 181 students during the year. That equates to 9.5 percent of the 1,904 students enrolled.
Students were expelled for four incidents with drugs and four incidents with unspecified reasons.
Of the 115 in-school suspensions, 87 were given to boys and 28 were given to girls, including 68 elementary or middle schoolers and 47 high schoolers.
The district reported that most in-school suspensions were given for unspecified reasons. The category includes 80 incidents. There were 26 incidents of violence without physical injury. For 43 incidents, students were suspended for 1-3 days.
Of the 58 out-of-school suspensions, 44 were given to boys and 14 were given to girls, including 38 elementary or middle schoolers and 20 high schoolers.
