City of Alton Committee of the Whole met Oct. 8.

Here is the agenda provided by the committee:

1. Call to Order.

2. Roll Call.

3. Audit of Accounts.

4. Resolutions, re: That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the attached redevelopment agreement with Scott Ramage, pursuant to the terms of the Alton Tax Increment Finance Grant Program.

5. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 3222 Belle Street.

6. Resolution, re: The City Council deems it is in the best interest of the City of Alton to amend the building codes of the City of Alton pertaining to the Building and Sign Permit Fees and that the attached ordinance be considered.

7. Resolution, re: That no parking be established on Admiral and that the attached ordinance be considered.

8. Resolution, re: That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized and directed to make payment from the Lucy Haskell Playhouse Committee Fund to George Alarm Co. Inc. in the amount of $479.40 pursuant to the minutes and invoice.

9. Resolution, re: That the Mayor and appropriate city officials are hereby authorized and directed to execute any and all appropriate documents to extend the existing contract between the City and EnviroLife Consulting LLC as requested by EnviroLife Consulting LLC in their letter of July 23, 2018.

10. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 1105 Seiler.

11. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 2487 Johnson.

12. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 1041 College.

13. Resolution, re: To commence with demolition proceedings concerning 765 Park Drive.

14. Resolution, re: That the Mayor and appropriate City officials to be designated by the Mayor are hereby authorized and directed to sign the attached Lease Agreement between the City of Alton and United Community d/b/a Liberty Bank.

15. Resolution, re: The traffic division of the City of Alton Police Department has received a request for three (3) handicap parking space in front of 2603 North Rodgers Avenue Street and that the attached ordinance be considered.

16. Bid Report and Resolution, re: Bid #2018 – 21; Demolition of 1258 State Street for the Building and Zoning Department.

17. Adjourn.
