City of East St.Louis issued the following announcement on Oct. 31.
In the 2014 midterm elections, fewer than 20% of eligible voters aged 18-29 cast their vote.
Millennials cite a variety of reasons for their dwindling participation. A primary concern is the confusing state-by-state laws that hamper this mobile generation – for example, the complicated voter registration laws that affect out-of-state college students.
